Founded in 2015, Sentinel Grove was established to offer investors access to opportunities independent of the daily fluctuations of traditional financial markets. Recognizing the demand for long-term, low-volatility strategies, we deliver thoughtfully curated investments across high-quality commercial real estate, emerging private enterprises, and innovative fixed-income solutions.

Our partnerships span high‑credit national corporations such as Publix, Chik-Fil-A and Starbucks, and private companies including Noble Food and Pursuits and FastBreak AI.

Investor Transparency

We start every project with a clear, comprehensive presentation designed to give investors complete transparency. We upload all relevant project documents to the investor portal and aim to ensure each investor understands the opportunity and risks, why it's compelling, the projected cash flow and returns, and the planned exit strategy.

Aligned Partnerships

Throughout the life of each investment, we provide quarterly financial reports to keep investors informed. For development or renovation projects, we also share regular updates and photographs detailing construction progress and tenant occupancy milestones.

Our private investments unite a community of like-minded investors. Sentinel Grove establishes a dedicated LLC for each new project exclusively for that opportunity. Investors who choose to participate become members of the LLC, creating a partnership that provides the equity or debt necessary to bring the project to life.

Founding Partner of Pesta, Finnie & Associates, LLP, a Charlotte, NC-based accounting firm specializing in partnership taxation, public accounting, and real estate. A Certified Public Accountant, Don graduated from Ohio Northern University with high honors in accountancy and law, and has extensive experience from his time at Arthur Andersen, where he advanced to partner.

Board Member

An award-winning orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle at OrthoCarolina, with over 20 years of research experience and 18 approved patents. As Medical Director of the Foot and Ankle Institute at OrthoCarolina and Co-Founder of PressioSpine, he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a renowned inventor, entrepreneur, and international speaker.

Former NFL wide receiver and LSU football star, who played professionally for teams including the New York Giants. As Founder and President of Shep Boys Waste Management in the Greater Houston area, he provides innovative waste management and portable sanitation solutions for events and businesses, while also serving as an investor and public speaker.

Board Member

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ballad Health, a nationally recognized healthcare system serving 29 counties across East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. With over 25 years of hospital operations experience, Alan previously served as Secretary of Health Care in Florida and Louisiana and currently sits on the Florida Board of Governors.

A Wall Street veteran with a unique insight into distressed assets and “black swan” market opportunities. A former partner at Scopia Capital Management, LP, Brian graduated from Harvard University and obtained an MBA from The Wharton School at The University of Pennsylvania.

An accomplished actor, director and producer, is most popularly known for his recurring role on the hit television series, The Black List. He has a unique insight into media and entertainment sectors, along with key perspectives into monetization related to social media, film, and television. He is also an accomplished investor.

Jason J. Rosenberg, MD, FACS​

Board Member

A plastic and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in breast reconstruction for women being treated for breast cancer. He has served as the Chairman of the Florida Board of Medicine, a trustee at the University of Florida, and as a member of the governing board of Florida’s University System. A former Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force, Dr. Rosenberg has served on scientific advisory boards and as a consultant to a number of privately held and publicly traded companies.

Derek Copeland

Derek Copeland oversees all aspects of  the company’s capital formation process. He also identifies opportunities for the company’s lending and private equity portfolio. Prior to joining Sentinel Grove Partners, Mr. Copeland has been a business consultant and worked in financial services.

Trey Morgan is Manager and co-Founder of Sentinel Grove Partners and is instrumental in the operations and strategic direction of the company since its inception. Mr. Morgan is also president and CEO of The Morgan Companies. He is responsible for the Company’s overall strategy and guiding the leadership team.

With over seven years of experience in client relations, business development, and fundraising, she brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach to her role.

Hannah supports the operations of Sentinel Grove, helping ensure the seamless execution of the firm’s marketing and event initiatives. With nearly six years of experience in client services and real estate, she brings valuable experience to the firm.

With eight years of experience in core finance and accounting, complemented by two years of direct experience in real estate investment, Tolla brings valuable perspective and solid accounting expertise to the team. Tolla’s focus is on maintaining financial integrity and ensuring transparent, accurate reporting for the firm and its investors.
